4.2.4PRODUCT STEWARDSHIP OF CHEMICAL INPUTS

4.2.4.化学品投入物的产品管理

4.2.4.1Chemical Formulators and Chemical Subcontractors (if any) shall implement appropriate and effective Product Stewardship practices.

4.2.4.1. 化学品配制商和化学品分包商（如有）应实施适当有效的产品管理规范。

4.2.4.2An adequate system for product testing and quality assurance shall be in place and verified during an on-site audit.

4.2.4.2. 应建立适当的产品测试和质量保障体系，并在现场审核期间进行验证。

4.2.4.3Chemical Formulators shall designate suitably trained and authorised personnel for Product Stewardship responsibilities.

4.2.4.3. 化学品配制商应指定经过适当培训并获得授权的人员负责产品管理。

4.2.4.4Relevant updates and education shall be provided to the concerned personnel regularly.

4.2.5ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT, OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR CHEMICAL SUPPLIERS/FORMULATORS

4.2.5.化学品供应商/配制商环境管理、职业健康与安全

4.2.5.1Chemical Formulators and Chemical Subcontractors (if any) shall undergo an on-site audit for environmental management system and safety at their production premises.

4.2.5.1. 应对化学品配制商和化学品分包商（如有）的环境管理体系和生产场所的安全开展的现场审核。

4.2.5.2On-site inspection shall be performed as part of the chemical Input assessment for granting and/or renewing a Letter of Approval, which may be valid for up to 3 years or until a new Standard version comes into effect,whichever is earlier.

4.2.5.2. 现场检查应作为化学品投入物评估的一部分，从而授予和/或续签批文，批文可保持效力3年或直至新版标准生效为止，两者以较早发生的为准。

4.2.5.3GOTS criteria in the following sections shall be included in the audit of Chemical Formulators and Chemical Subcontractors (if any) and shall be applicable to the entire Site during the validity of the certification.

4.2.5.4At all stages through the chemical manufacturing and distribution, adequate measures for separation and identification shall be established, ensuring GOTS approved chemical Inputs and other chemicals are not commingled nor contaminated by contact with prohibited Substances.
